Project Summary

Rainbow Play Systems of Northeast WI is a family-owned small business dedicated to providing high quality play equipment with a personal touch.

The owners wanted to streamline the booking process for Open Play Times and Birthday Parties by allowing customers to schedule them online. They also waned to begin selling their products online – for local pickups and deliveries and also for shipping to their out-of-town customers.

This project included updating their branding (color palette and fonts), designing a new website, and adding eCommerce functionality that allows for online orders and bookings.

Website Design

As part of the website redesign, I updated the branding (color palette and fonts) to a more fun and modern look. Since it had been quite a few years since the last website design was created, I also focused on updating the page width, page layouts, and mobile responsiveness of the website.

A WooCommerce shopping cart was added to the website to display and sell their products. And we also added the ability for customers to book Open Play sessions and Birthday Parties online.

Notes from Kelly:

I enjoyed working with the new owners of Rainbow Play Systems of Northeast WI on their new website redesign. My goal with all website projects is to not only create a professional look-and-feel; but also to make sure their website helps their business. In this website we did that by updating the web design, adding a shopping cart for their products, plus adding online bookings for their open play times and birthday parties.

I had originally created Rainbow’s first website in 2010 and continued helping them with website updates over the years. In 2024 I was excited to redesign and develop a new website when new owners took over the business. I’ve enjoyed working with both sets of owners on this website for over 15 years!
