The Website
- A beautiful, mobile-responsive WordPress website — Your website will look gorgeous on every device: desktop, tablet, and phone. No pinching, no squinting, no hot mess.
- A professionally designed website layout, selected specifically for your business and customized to your brand — I handpick a website layout that fits your industry, your vibe, and your goals. Then I customize it with your logo, colors, and fonts so it feels uniquely yours.
- Up to 5 web pages, including Home, About, and Contact — Need a Services page? A Portfolio page? A Landing page? You choose your remaining pages based on what your business needs.
- Additional policy pages: Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and/or Disclaimer — These pages are included and don’t count toward your 5 pages (because they’re essential for your business and shouldn’t eat into your design budget!).
- A custom 404 “Page Not Found” page — You know that awkward dead-end page people land on when a link is broken? Phase 1: Website Prep & Plan
After booking, you’ll get access to your dedicated client portal where everything you need is waiting for you. You’ll fill out a simple questionnaire and then I’ll select a website layout specifically for your business. Once you approve the design I’ve chosen for you, I’ll send you simple content worksheets and guidelines, so you know exactly what to gather before your build week. No guessing, no overwhelm. Just clear, simple steps.
Phase 2: Website Build Week
You sit back and watch your website come to life! I dedicate an entire week exclusively to building your website. After the website is built, you’ll get to review it and request any changes. By day five you have a beautiful new website ready to share with the world.
Phase 3: After Website Launch
Your website is live… time to celebrate! You’ll get your launch graphics and a social media shout-out from me. You’ll also get your personalized Website User Manual, plus two weeks of post-launch email support so I can answer questions and take care of any minor tweaks you need. And if you’d like ongoing support after that, my Website TLC Plans are the perfect next step to keep your website protected, updated, and running smoothly long after launch.

Getting Started
How soon can you start on my website project?
I recommend booking your project at least 2 weeks before your desired Build Week, to give you enough time to gather your content and get everything ready-to-go. I take on a limited number of web design projects each month so if you need a quick turnaround time, you’ll want to secure your spot early.
How long does this entire process take?
From project booking to website launch, the entire process typically takes about 3 weeks — depending on how quickly you complete your questionnaire and gather your content. The actual website build happens in one dedicated week, so the timeline really is as fast as it sounds!
How do I get started?
Easy! Schedule a free phone call. We’ll spend a few minutes talking about your business and making sure we’re a good fit to work together. If we are, we’ll get your project on the calendar and before you know it, you’ll have a website you love.
The Process
Do you write the website copy for me?
The website copy is something you’ll provide. After all, no one knows your business better than you do! Your Content Guidelines will walk you through each page. If writing isn’t your strong suit, working with a copywriter before your project begins is a great option. And if you’d like a second set of eyes on your content before your build week, I’m happy to read through it and give you some feedback.
Do I have to provide photos and images?
Not necessarily! You have a few options: you can provide all of your own photos and images, provide some and let me source additional stock photos to fill in the gaps, or if you don’t have any photos at all I can source stock photos for your entire website. I’ll always choose images that feel cohesive with your brand and the overall look of your site.
Do you put all my text and images into the website for me?
Absolutely! That’s the whole point of done-for-you! You send me your content and I take care of putting it all together. No copying and pasting into confusing website editors. No wondering if you’re doing it right. Just send it over and consider it handled.
What happens if my content isn't ready before my Build Week?
All content needs to be submitted one week before your Build Week so I have everything I need to hit the ground running. If your content isn’t ready by that deadline, you have two options:
- We reschedule your Build Week to the next available date.
— or — - We proceed as planned and any incomplete sections will have placeholder text for you to fill in after launch.
Either way, we’ll figure it out together!
Do I need to have my branding done before we start?
Having your branding (logo, brand colors, and fonts) ready before we start makes the web design process smoother and faster. But if you don’t have that all figured out yet, no worries! I can create a simple text-based logo and help you nail down your colors and fonts as add-ons to your project. Don’t let that stop you from reaching out!
What if I don't like the website design?
Before your Build Week begins, I’ll present you with a website layout I’ve selected specifically for your business. If it doesn’t feel quite right, just let me know and I’ll choose another option for you. My goal is for you to feel excited and confident about the direction before I start building your website. And we won’t move forward to the website Build Week until the design direction is approved.
How many rounds of website revisions do I get?
One round of revisions is included during your build week. On day four you’ll receive a link to review your website and submit any change requests. And I’ll take care of them before we launch on day five. In my experience, one round is all most clients need — especially because the design direction is approved before the website build even begins! This round of revisions is really just about the finishing touches.
The Website
Can I add more than 5 pages?
Absolutely! Additional pages are available for $200 per page. Just let me know what you need and I’ll make sure your website has everything it needs to represent your business beautifully.
What if I want to add something to my project (like a shopping cart)?
Have something specific in mind that isn’t included in the package? No problem! Many additions can be folded right into your project for an additional charge. Just keep in mind that depending on the complexity of what you need, the timeline may extend beyond the standard Build Week. The best thing to do is mention it during our discovery call so we can talk through the details and make sure we account for it in your project plan and timeline.
Do your websites include SEO?
Yes! Every website I build includes basic on-page SEO, which means I take care of the foundational elements that help search engines understand and index your website. This includes:
- Page titles and meta descriptions
- Heading structure
- Image file names, file sizes, and alt text
- SEO-friendly page addresses (URLs)
After the Website Launch
Do you provide website training?
While I don’t offer formal website training, every completed website comes with a personalized website user manual — a simple, easy-to-follow guide that shows you how to make basic updates to your website yourself.
Can you help me with my website after our project is completed?
Absolutely! I’m not the kind of designer who hands over your website and disappears. There are two great ways we can continue working together after your project is complete:
- If you need occasional help with updates, fixes, or changes, you can book a VIP Day and we’ll knock out your website to-do list in one focused day.
- And if you’d like ongoing support and maintenance, my Website TLC Plans are the perfect solution. Think of it as having a trusted website partner in your corner every single month.
What is a Website TLC Plan?
A Website TLC Plan is my ongoing website care and maintenance service. It’s designed to keep your WordPress website secure, updated, and running smoothly so you never have to worry about it. Want to learn more? Check out all the details here: Website TLC Plans.
The Investment
Are there any additional ongoing costs?
Great question! Here are the ongoing costs to expect after your website launches:
- Web hosting: If you’re not on one of my Website TLC Plans, you’ll need to arrange your own web hosting — typically around $20-$35+ per month.
- Domain name registration: Your domain name (your website address) renews annually — typically around $25 per year.
- Divi theme license: The Divi theme is included in my Website TLC Plans. If you’re not on a TLC plan, the annual license is $89/year.
- Premium plugins or third-party tools: Depending on the functionality you need, some tools may have their own subscription costs. I’ll always give you a heads up if anything like this applies to your project.
The good news? Signing up for a Website TLC Plan covers your hosting and Divi license, cutting your ongoing costs significantly.
How do you handle payments?
Your total investment is split into two equal payments of 50% each. The first payment is due at booking to secure your spot and build week date. The second payment is due before your website launches. I accept credit cards, PayPal, and checks — whatever works best for you!
What is your cancellation policy?
If circumstances change and you need to cancel your project, here’s how we handle it. A written notice is all we need to wrap things up. You’ll be responsible for payment for all work completed up to that point, plus reimbursement of any additional expenses incurred. Please note that your initial deposit is non-refundable. And as always, I reserve the right to include any work I’ve created in my portfolio. If you ever have concerns about how things are going, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d much rather work through any issues together than part ways!
